    i have tub for a cj5 i have the vin # but not the year 830515 254348
    can someone help find the year of this tub .

    Based on the 254348, my guess is late '68 or early '69. 830515 means a 4-banger w/ emissions. HTH. :beer:

    my 69 is # 350759 but i haven't figured out the month yet. since it's 96411 units later than yours hippo is most likely correct.
