    Found a donor for some of the parts I need for "The Duck",(actually the donor may be in better shape)was curious as to the year of this early 5. Serial no. is 57548 106363 Chalk on the cowl sez "71 Wagoneer". I think not. Would appreciate any help.
    Sure hate to see any Jeep in as good shape as this'n wind up in the salvage yard, but I guess it's OK if it helps another go on.

    57548 would indicate it is a 63 or older jeep cj5. 106363 would point towards 61 or 62.

    If need be I can tell you more closely what it is, but those data are in my shop
