    The miniductor is cool. We got one as a mandatory special tool when they came out with the hitch recalls on the liberties and gr cherokees

    We use induction heaters all the time, the bolting I deal with can be as big as 8" diameter and 6' long.. way to big to rotate to tension..

    Ahh c'mon Tim, just add a toggle switch to your machine at work to go from "pulsed" mode to "CW" , you could heat up the bolts on a whole engine all at once :D

    The problem would be moving the Jeep into and out of the magnet :shock: (they do not have an on-off switch) ... plenty of RF power otherwise.

    Over the years I've instituted a pre-emptive fastener removal policy.

    I keep a squirt can of ATF handy. Whenever I'm in, on, or under a vehicle I routinely give a shot of the oil to every fastener within sight.
    Amazing how it eases the pain when a job needs to be done at some time in the future.
