Might be a long shot but maybe someone saved all the hardware from a rusty one. I only need one but am willing to buy whatever to make it happen.

If you get two Daryl, I will buy one from you. I am in the same boat (and am missing one of the supports too).

M35a2's use the same latch I believe, just another source of parts. I saw one at the junkyard last week, wish I knew you needed one. If you still need one in a month I may go back there over winter break, it's about 30 minutes from me in the pine barrens.

Thanks for the lead. If it is on a Jeep it was probably used by another OEM also.

M37 latches are very similar to the Jeep one pictured, and are probably the same as the M35 since they both use the same windshield. Any M37's in the area Daryl?

Are these latches "handed"? I too have a single latch (from an M35) that seems to fit perfectly, only the handle faces the opposite direction as the one in Daryl's photo.
Also, mine seems to have the remains of a piece of rubber (snubber?) located just below the handle pivot, between the mounting screws. It lines up with the frame catch. Is this correct for the CJ5 venting latch?

I believe they are but mine is back at home and I'm at college. I'm sure someone will chime in before I get home late tonight.

The picture I posted is of my windshield that has the drivers side latch intact. I assume someone removed the passenger side to make it easier to open up without reaching over.

My M37 has opposite facing ones, so they are definitely paired, at least for the military trucks but that doesn't mean a whole lot since my M43 has both the same.
