Looks like the old gumbo mudders I use to run. Air down to 5psi, they run good then

Second set of new wheels I’ve ever bought. But the first set was $22 wagon wheels, so I don’t feel like they count.

I also ran to Spokane today to the Interstate battery outlet for a new battery, and I ran to my cabinet supply place for a drawer slide to finish the under-seat drawer. Online purchases today were new lugnuts, turn signal stalk, CV rebuilt kit, headlights, tail lights, and sound-deadening/insulation mat. I’m running low on hippo money. :(
I only have a few things left to get; a pressure switch and hose for OBA, front marker lenses, and I’d like to get the seats professionally cleaned. The end is in sight!

I like that wheel....wish I could have gotten them in 16x7 and run 235/85/16 - you did well. The pain of the money will disappear as soon as you start driving it.

    These are 16 x 7
They were hard to find. Skinny wheels are a dying breed.

If I were paying for new wheels I would definitely go 16x7. So many tire sizes available for that wheel size.

This is really the only one that bugs me. Half of it will get covered by the hood. It’s just in the clear coat, so I could sand it out and buff it some day if it really gets to me.

Drawer is done. I grabbed these slides on sale for $17. They’re not stainless (those were special order and $104 even with my discount), but they are heavy duty with a 200# weight rating.

I welded the slide bodies to the cabinet (didn’t have room for screws) and bolted the sliders to the drawer.

looking awesome. Just throw a clear coat over the slides to slow down any rust.
