I'm keeping speedy wrapped in steel. Body in nice shape, just have a small amount of sheetmetal work to do to her ;). If I needed a tub, I would have bought one of these for sure :)

Guys dont count on me just yet.
The wife and head of the bank (Jeep Savings and no Loan) are still talking this over.
Its not looking positive right now. :(
For the cost I can get a decent wire welder and weld patch panels in Bamm Bamm. ;)
Plus all the other fab stuff I've been dreamin up.

Gotta get the good camera from here at work first. The quality of mine seems to be decreasing. :(

I'd get the welder and patch panels too. That welder will come in handy for lots-o-stuff ;)

We are leaning that way hard. ;)
The thought behind the glass was to speed up the process so to speak.
I need to get Bamm Bamm done.

agian guys dont mean to scare any one off of these tubs due to photos. this tub and clip will go on cynfl's 73cj5 for 90% pushing sprint cars on asphalt and might see so dirt tracks also. so there was a purpose for the funny looking body. but the quality is very good. speedbuggy has seen body and knows the purpose.hope everyone can get what they are looking for in a look.this just happens to be the one I liked thanks tom

it can be, it is completely closed off on bottom. i am going to cut a door in the top of it for tool box and cynfl's things while at the track.there was a tub down there that the bottom was cut out and a fuel cell was mounted up in it. the hole tub is double lined as you can see from photos.it also has raised seat mounts. one thing with this style of tub over ther normal tub is it is 2 1/2 inches narrower on the inside and the back deck is 5 inches lower. so stock roll cage will not work.speedbuggy and i are going to make a new 6 point cage to fit the different design

OK. ....called this D&L place in Georgia. 45miles south of Atlanta. Talked to Ron, the mechanic. Don , the parts and price guy , is out picking up stuff or something today , will be back in tomorrow. We need to talk to him for deals. They have 50 full body sets. all fiberglass . Good quality. The more you buy , the cheaper they get. One hitch...some of them are 'different'looking on the interiors . They are all identical on the outside body wise, but there are minor differences that are on the interiors. And some are pre-drilled for body mounts and some aren't for more custom type frame set -ups or mods you might have. He'll call tomorrow.

Geez! If I had the space (AND wasn't married! LOL!) I'd go get them all for resale! Meansville, GA isn't but about 60 miles from me! He'd probably take a cash offer of $30k for the whole lot of them, clips and bodies!

Edit: Hey! Is Jeff, aka Willysnut seeing this? Jeff, you once were looking at buying my jeep for the body alone. This might interest you! Just NE of Hamilton, GA!

Just wondering where people are on the possibility of picking up some tubs and bringing them north. Just wondering. I am happy help pay someone to bring them this way and I could head to southern Ohio on a saturday to help bring the rest of the way.

    Henry :)
