About ready to restore my hubs. Anyone know if the blue was only on the face or around the entire sides of the hub too?

From this link of an NOS set, it looks like the whole hub was blue: NOS Dualmatic Hubs on eBay

    Depends on the supplier.
These hubs were sold through many vendors and painted or presented depending on the whim of the vendor.

Yes, you can also find pictures of black and natural aluminum NOS hubs too.

I have 3 NOS sets. One ea in black, blue and natural. It would also seem that the hubs for the FS Jeeps were natural. At least that is the only way I have seen the NOS ones.

I personally like the natural. I will be cleaning them up and then putting a clear over them on my 71.

Online the blue but it won’t align with paint color of Jeep. I’m torn between natural and black.

I'm not a big fan of Dualmatic (or any of the other two point contact) hubs. I broke the housing on a pair of those on a completely stock FC 150. When really loaded, those cams just spread the housing. If you are going to replace those, I would be looking for a set of period correct Warn's or Selectromatic's.
