One four liter kit should do the bottom.

After the liner is cured good coat the hat channel in fluid film a few times over the next year should stop the rust from starting.

I would still use fluid film. coming from a state that has rotted 2010 cars and trucks any rust killing steps are good.

Maybe I'm not thinking this through all the way, but wouldn't the Raptor liner seal the hat channels by itself? I thought that was kind of the point. Seal the metal to prevent rust and protect against rocks etc. My body has been blasted down to bare metal and now has an epoxy primer. I assume, if seam sealer is needed, I should do that before the Raptor, correct?

If you want to seal the seams yes now is the time. And the liner is supposed to seal it but in the real world in won’t seam seal then liner then fluid film. The fluid film migrates around and seeps into any voids that are left. The problem is the wood and bare steel you need some oily stuff to seal the nude steel.

I went and purchased seam sealer for Eastwood. Their was a store near me and I seam sealed hat channels and coated it with a frame coating on top of the Raptor liner and seam sealer.
Seam sealer was about 14 dollars and the frame coating 25 dollars.

Been using it for aprox. 4 years now. I love it because I can get it locally and get the tinted colors to match my paint of the vehicle. The other thing I like about it (and you may be able to do this to other products) is I can thin it out and spray it on exterior, just like paint. Gives a great satin appearance. Did my 91 two door XJ sport with the blaze red (I think that was the XJ color) and it came out very nice. I also paint my bumpers, rock slider etc, with it thinned out, so I can later repaint over any scratches or dents. Not crazy about the textured look on bumpers etc. I like it, it holds up well and you can recoat it later. here are a few pictures of the 47 with bumpers, rock sliders painted with raptor that was thinned and sprayed. The interior was done with Raptor liner as textured. You can see how the color matched tint works out well. And yes it does feel like plastic, because, well because basically, it is.

Textured Raptor under wheel wells, inside tub on floors. Roll bar, bumpers, rock sliders are thinned Raptor. Color was 2015 Tank Green (Jeep)

I lined the underside of my '47 with Raptor Liner - and the underside of the fenders. Also used it in place of mats on the front floors. I saw what 70 years of abuse, water, racks, etc. can do. Freedom from rust = peace of mind.

masscj2a -- what swing away tire/can carrier did you use. Did you have to modify it?
