Dave posted this picture on eWillys this morning of an an old "Super Jeep" set up as a USCG beach patrol Jeep.

Look at the wheels and tires. When I bought my Bantam a couple years ago, it had these wheels and tires on it.

You can see what looks like o.d. green underneath the white paint. I've been thinking that, for some reason, somebody put implement tires on the trailer. But, maybe these are some original Super Jeep wheels? The tires could be newer, I haven't ever checked for date codes on them.

The Bantam wheels also look very similar to the Renegade 1 wheels I've got, but it's not an exact match.

You can also go to today's eWillys and check out the video Dave posted of a Super Jeep in action in 1944.

:)The Jeep do to its use on the Beach looks like it had a flotation or low ground pressure type of tire..............your trailer may have had the same use.

From the tread I'm guessing they're probably aircraft tires.
