Chrome bumper Bolts. I got replacements at a body shop. They had a bucket full.

You can flip the bumper over or swap front and back. The only change will be the license plate bolt being either on the right (passenger) side or the left (drivers) side.

Thank you, that may be easier to start with flip the front first. Then swap front to back and eventually get tag back on drivers side. I have too much apart as it is.

The correct Tux bumper bolts are steel bolts with stainless caps pressed on the head. These were standard on most cars of the 1960's though mid-'70s, so a good body shop could be a source.
The front and rear chrome bars are interchangable with only the third bolt hole for the license bracket needing to be positioned to the drivers side for the front. I'd have to refer to my notes for the rear for the unused bolt on the rear.
The front bumper from a Commando is the same shape and width, but this had 3 bolts per frame rail (total of 7 bolts including plate bracket) where the Tux bumper has only 3 total bolt holes. The Jeepster front bumper 3 bolts per rail are a top, bottom, and face.
The Commando rear bumper is 6-7" wider than the front, and has different bolt spacing, so doen't lend itself for use on a Tux.
The Tux rear bumper uses a pair of heavy steel "Z" (sort of) shaped brackets that mount to the rear frame crossmember.

I will have to get a wire brush or wheel back there. I thought I felt threads but no sides on the nuts, caps would explain that.

This original rear bumper was on my tux when I bought it. I moved it to the front as the front bumper had been replaced with a stock steel bumper. You can see the original license plate bolt hole under the curb side tail light. The green lines are a poor representation of the rear bracket. Also you can partially see the bracket on the street side in the circle. I kept the brackets and later found a nice replacement for the rear.

The PO of my Tux mounted a plow on the front bumper, so it wound up on my Avatar upside down with a vanity plate on it. I put the rear bumper on the front and stainless bumperettes on the back, it makes it easier to use the drawbar, the Tux bumper made it hard to get a trailer on the ball.

That is what happened to ours too, extra holes in the top going through the frame.
    Nice avatar!

Not sure about stock chrome tail-gate hinge. Maybe some came with and some without.

Chrome tailgate hinges were not a factory option. These were done by a previous owner. Back in the early '70s, a neighbor had his tailgate hinges chromed while his Tux weas getting a re-spray.
I have a set of front axle drive flanges that someone had chromed. Some Tux owners back in the day added even more chrome than the factory installed.
I checked my notes, and can confirm the license plate blanking bolt on the rear bumper is indeed on the right side from the factory.
