I dont want to start a new thread because I have a project and a couple of questions. Im wondering the floor pan size and the tounge length?

How do you measure tongue length (from tub/frame to center of hitch ball?) I can run out to the garage and measure.

 

From the front edge of the tongue to the ball center will be fine . It doesnt have to be exact just a round about.

What I got is the remains of a bantum trailer in the woods , only thing that is worth saving is the axel and the springs and maybe one fender. So Im thinking about just building a new trailer frame (stake sides wood floor) and slapping the axel under it. I want to build it close to the oringinal size as posible just to keep the look. Call me crazy R) R)

You might be able to save more trailer!
My springs were so bad they had rusted to twice the size, but the axle was perfect. The frame and floor was shot so I used oiled plywood for the floor. The sides had rust holes all along the bottom 2 inches where the water had sat. I was able to take a jig saw and cut off the lower 3 inches and was left with solid rust free sides. I found perfect new replacement fenders at a trailer supply shop for $10 each. I will be doing up my trailer build soon...have fun with yours.
