So do it like a 6 point star? Or 2 triangles to tighten down everything? If that makes sense I suppose

cool tip....when painting with the hi temp paint, run the engine only until the paint starts to smoke, then shut it down and let it cool. do this a few times and your paint will stay nice looking. Otherwise the paint will burn off within seconds and you'll have ugly, rusty headers/manifolds.

doesn't really work all that well when your trying to break in a cam, but it does work....

I just prefer the studs. If you want anyone building a big engine they use studs. You get a better torque reading not to mention when you put sealant on the bolt it will mess up your torque reading.

Most times with a new cam and lifters you set timing pretty close before starting. Then once started you run at about 2000rpm for about 20 mins, varying rpm up and down a couple hundred. Don't run at a steady rpm or you can build a ridge in cylinder, and things don't seat right. After initial 20 min run, shut off check for leaks and fluid levels. adjust timing and carb, check torque on heads and manifolds if called for. First couple 100 miles take it easy on the motor and vary rpm/speed. And it's gonna stink and smoke like crazy when you are doing the 2000rpm run, but don't worry. Once rings are seated it will stop and smooth out. Keep an eye on oil pres and temp while running.

Alright, will do. That sounds easy. They set all the valves and timing, they said, but I'm not sure what they did. I'll ask for more help when the time gets here :)
Right now I'm actually in the garage rebuilding my transfer case.
