Timing chain for 225 v6

Hey everyone I'm installing a new timing chain on my 225 and I got the Comp Cams double roller and it has the option to advance or retard the timing. I saw another post on here that somebody had used one of the Comp Cams kit and when they lined the OEM timing marks up that it didn't run properly and they had to go back and change to a different mark on the crank shaft gear. So my question is has anyone else had this problem? anything special I should know about this kit before I go and assembly all this just to have to take it all back apart. Part number for the kit I got: 3128 from summit


Another thing is the lobe that the fuel pump rides on is pretty worn and I wanted to know where I could find another.
