It just barely fits on it, the front arms are all the way out. It takes for ever to lower it down since it weighs next to nothing :D

Not bad for a couple hours of work

Lookin good. The gold flake name idea would be cool. Another idea would be to paint it in like a ghost flame somewhere.

Well some more progress this weekend. 30" of travel in the front right now....still need to trim the back fenders out to clear the tires since the wheelbase is a little longer now..Not sure if Im gonna use the wheels that are on it, due to the backspacing on them...they only have around 2.25" of BS and I have another set thats closer to 4" so that will tuck the tires back in the fenders a little better...

boy you were busy. Did you get that all done last night or yesterday and today? I guess the motivation to get it off the lift was pretty strong :)

Yup me and my boss knocked it out pretty quickly. I got started on it yesterday about 4pm after meeting up with you guys, worked till around 10, then today from 9:30 till 7:30. So it wasnt too bad but it was alot of busy work.

Ended up using 5 leaf YJ rear springs in the front, XJ rear leafs in the back turned around to get a couple more inches of wheelbase. For the hangers I used some YJ shackle hangers in the front that I cut off an old frame and some CJ hangers in the rear. For the the spring hangers they are lower control arm brackets that got cut off a TJ when it got a long arm kit installed...So up to now I have CJ2a, CJ5, YJ, XJ, and TJ parts on it. R)

Heres a side shot of it sitting on the ground.. The top of the windshield is 76" tall right now. So hopefully once the drivetrain, cage and my big behind are all in it it will lower down to around 6'....at least thats my goal right now. [IMG]

are you comp cutting the rear or going to just enlarge the opening to keep it a sort of stock look? Oh i got the shifter fixed. it helps to remove the old one before trying to put the stupid bushing in hehehehe
