Hi, I want to do some mods to my T90A tower, like sealing all 4 ends, adding a reverse-light switch on the reverse rail, etc. Maybe a better, tighter cane feeling. I found this one on Ebay, but it says T90C. I have heard that the housing and some of the parts are interchangeable but I'm not sure. Can this T90C tower work on my T90A? Thanks!

    This one is mine...

    Towers would interchange.
    Shift forks the same.
Just the tooth count/gears inside different.
Some of the cane shifters can be longer in length, which I always preferred.
Some of the later towers would be prepped for the b/u light switch.

Wait what? I did not know this was even possible for a T90. Time to start researching....

Stands to reason there are some few T-90 shift tops out there that accept a backup light switch. The NHTSA mandated automatic backup lights in '67 (68?) and the F134 came with the T-90 right up to the end in 1971. Unless there was some exemption for utility vehicles, they'd have to have backup lights to be legally sold.

Do you have any pics so i can see what i would be looking for?
Is it safe to assume that i would just need to exchange all the guts to one that had that or are there other differences internally i would need to source and add?

I have the T90 shift housing with the factory back-up switch, and have seen the castings with the lug cast in, but not tapped for the switch. No, its not up for sale.
