I found this piece of cast iron stuck to the magnet on the drain plug to my t14. In the one pic in the middle you can see a thread from a bolt hole. Anyone have any ideas before i pull the cover off?

That chunk looks like a classic case of a bolt being a bit too long and bottoming out, chunking off the bottom of what used to be a blind hole. Have you got any bolts that are weeping oil?

Most likely one of the bolts/bosses that holds the shift tower on.
