Just got back from my favorite u-pull it yard and got a t-98 out of an old CJ-5 with adapters, driveshafts, transfercase, and misc stuff to convert my '54 CJ-3B to 4-speed.Got out clean for about $200 and parts are all good and usable, too bad it didn't have the overdrive too!!!

I say about $200 because I had a '53 M38A1 I got for that amount and traded the whole Jeep to them for whatever I wanted.Kept the stock seats as they where better than mine and let the rest go.Transfercase was locked up,motor shot, floors totally gone.Did think about getting all the unique military switches off of it but......yes good deal and I am more than pleased!
