What is a good supplier for replacement switches for my 1960 CJ-5. I need a headlight switch, wiper motor switch (American Bosch wipers), and turn signal switch. I have found NOS replacement on eBay but was wondering if there are some better sources. Would like to stay as original as possible.

    Turn signal: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7949272306&category=50459

    Wiper motor switch: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7949457628&category=33657

Not sure if that will work with my electric wiper motors

    headlight switch: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&item=7950111407&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT

I am kinda new at this and really do not know what the going prices are. Do not want to be taken for a CHUMP!!

If there are better sources for NOS and such let me know please. I read a lot about NAPA on this forums and to stay away from JCW.

    Thanks

Interesting Ebay pieces. How long have you had your Jeep? I have my Dad's new 61, and I don't think they came with electric wipers. All vacuum, I think. But, I'm not well known for thinking. The turn signal looks about right, and should be repairable, if not already in good condition, provided you are handy about tinkering with such stuff (they're not really too complicated). I'm a skeptic about Ebay anymore. And the light switch is sort of moot. You can buy a light switch anywhere; but if you're looking for a "stock" knob, well..... I also need a stock knob, and for the choke and hand throttle as well. (A black lab who wasn't food-specific ate mine - gave a new meaning to plastic dog poop) I haven't seen them yet, but I'm not done looking, nor am I too concerned yet. More pressing issues. If you haven't already, snoop around some more here and start picking up sites for parts. There's a section here for feedback on part vendors. I just add them in as I see them mentioned, since most of these guys here have already been where you're headed, and they seem to know some things about, well, everything Jeep! Oh, and use the search feature here; I was a little slow on the uptake on that one. Tons of info there! Good luck!

Kevin, that turn signal is the one you want. Check the pic on ebay. I don't see the other half of the steering colunm clamp. Might ask the seller if it's there.
As far as the other things you need try Quadratec. They have a lot of OEM
    replacement parts.

Wow! That signal switch went for or $60.00. I think I am gonna have to settle for an aftermarket or wait for a better deal. I mean I am buying a 60/40 benchseat with frame in great shape for $50.00. Not much of a comparison there.
