fixed the title for ya :)
I run one on my cj6......it's not a steering fix but does help to dampen road jolts and trail hits

    :iagree:
Especially with manual steering, on rocky trails.

I've got a steering stabilizer on but I can't say that I notice much difference with it. Maybe because of the power steering.

A dropped pitman arm will help that without the stabilizer.

Upgrade with Ross steering. Its like a 1gal gas can in the back you can still run dry but it gives you a better chance.
I've seen the stabilizers mounted from the frame to the tie rod to help limit wear on the bell crank and i have mine going from my axle to the tie rod to limit bump steer.
I got it after experiencing death wobble when I hit an angled bridge joint. after going through the knuckles and steering... a dampener would have limited the damage, 8ply 32's going nuts on a bridge R)

I run one on my CJ 6 (saginaw)
but not on my cj 5 (modified Ross)
I think it is a personal preference, but it is not a expensive mod so doing it does not hurt.

I got hit with "death wobble" 1 day at 65 MPH on the freeway. Scary! All front end components are tight-WTF? I just got a light duty stock replacement type steering stabilizer from NAPA & no more issues.
