steering question

    ok this is multi part. somewhat normal for me.

    1. how steep can i go with the draglink for the bellcrank? and not have massive bumpsteer. also could for now (not going on the road just to make it easier to push) could i just sleave the old draglink to make it longer since i am now running a dana 30 and some serious lift.

    2. for a saganaw conversion do i have to get a new crossmember?

    3. do i have to get rid of the ross box for the 4.3 swap?

    #3 - definitely. Here's a pic of the steering on the CJ6 I'm buying with the 4.3. The owner said it was very tight - he moved the motor 3 times to get it right.

    so i cant do the ross box with a 4.3. hmmm ok well then i guess question number 1 is useless. ok well i guess i will be off to the junk yard soon looking for parts to make a power steering setup.

    oh yeh just tried to see how much i would have had to add to the stock draglink, more then 8 inches i estimated when i tried to hook it up.
