    Has anyone adapted a bearing set up instead of the lower bushing?? I have a beautiful brass bushing all set to go but I would rather have a bearing....

    The original design doesn't seem to good with the inner shaft rubbing on a bushing. I know it had a plastic liner too but we have all seen that those wear away easily.
