    Hi,

Getting my 75 back together after paint and having issues with getting a good fit where the two bolts on the bottom of the column-to-dash face meet the front of the pedal assembly. It's always been wonky and I've previously shimmed it with washers but looking for a permanent fix.

What order are the parts supposed to go on the bottom? The four bolts in the front line up great but there seems to be a gap of about 1/8 between the bottom of the column face where it meets the bottom of the pedal bracket. It seems if I were to put a small 1/8 plate in between with the two holes for the bolts drilled it would tighten down correctly. Is this normal?

From the top, is the order pedal assembly, bottom lip of dash, then steering column? Or should the order be dash, pedals, then steering bracket?

If anyone has a photo that would be great. I can't find any photos or diagrams of this area in the 74 fsm that is online.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

    Dave
