Does anyone have any good contact information on getting stainless steel jeep parts from the phillippines? The www.geep.biz link went dead and I'm having difficulty finding a new one. I would love to get a stainless front grill, winshield frame and hardware, and tailgate with hinges. I would appreciate and help as far as email addresses and phone numbers. Thanks!

AFAIK all the repro steel Jeep tubs are being made by MD Juan http://www.mdjuan.com.ph/ Any of the regular Jeep suppliers that sell tubs should be able to get MD Juan products for you. You could try e-mailing MD Juan and asking if the stainless parts are still in production. They were very popular for Jeepneys in the PI, but the demand may have dried up along with the supply of old Jeeps there.

I spoke with the guy at Oregon Metalcraft about a year ago. I had an old JP Mag on the shelf and he had an advertisement in the back for stainless grills. He said importing the stuff was a major PITA and product movement and profit just wasn't practical. Too much import tax and government red tape. I have been trying to scour the web trying to find a reliable contact. I emailed MD Juan and have not received anything back from him. I'm wondering if there are U.S. patents and import laws protecting the stamping and limiting stamping to only steel parts. Or the phillipinos have some sort of pride to their ideas and don't want to share with us. I wont have the geep.biz phone numbers somewhere in storage but I have no idea where since I just moved from washington back to illinois. My next step is to try to establish a reliable contact by trolling on the phillipines craigslist vehicle for sale ads. If I'm successful is there anyone else out there that might be interested. My big concern is finding a reliable means of doing a money transfer.
