Did you have to run a Alt. Bypass Circuit then? The EZWire manual shows one for >80A alternators.

The 95 amp I bought hooked up exactly like the 63 amp I took off, I did not run any additional circuits. I can try to remember to look at the part number when I get home, I you don't get it out of me by tomorrow PM me in case I forget.

Boyink.... sorry it's a 94 amp, I hope you don't feel cheated...

DL7294 from AZ (I don't like it but their warranty on alternators is great!)

It looks like they raised the price in the last year though, probably because copper has gone way up... $70.99 for the 94 amp now....

*Shrug* No biggie - that's about what I paid for the 75A -- which I think will be plenty. I can't imagine the Astrovan the motor came out of had much more than that, and I'm not planning a winch anytime soon.

And by sticking under 80A I don't have to change my harness at all.

Yea...I've seen those types of writeups. Very cool, but MsBoyink has made it clear that the only way to enjoy "we" will enjoy camping is within a walking distance to a bathroom/shower...;)

Haven't hardly touched it in two weeks. Absolutely swamped with work -- and trying to find the time to start a second business.

It runs - just need to finish doing the wire management.

Got some time on SSDutch yesterday - with the exception of painting up the bar that I mounted all the relays to the underhood wire management is done. I used all spiral-wrap which takes a while to get on the wires but so far I like the end result much better than split-loom (which just holds dirt and crap).

Now it's on to the underdash wiring.

    Bit more progress:

Here's the under dash view with main and aux. fuse blocks and horn relay. Switches visible are for emergency flashers, manual fuel pump trigger, and underhood light:

Relay strip now painted and all relay connections wrapped in rubber self-stick electrical tape (not the gummy vinyl stuff):

Underhood wiring with spiral wrap and rubber-coated wire clamps in use:

Next up heater ducts, speedo cable, windshield washers - once I get the rest of the underdash stuff in place I can get the steering column and wheel in.

Yet another slick idea from Boyink! Hiding the switches like that is a great idea. I love watching and learning from your project.

Ran speedo cable, w/s washers, and heater hoses last night. Still need to secure the heater hoses.

But man...getting heat out of the dash is gonna be way cool...;)

Sure is nice to have a straight wheel.

    Here's how it sat before:

I was scared it was crooked on purpose - like that was the only way the Saggy swap would work...but everything looks OK and it seems to move w/o binding.
