Not related, but I am running Old Man Emu 2.5 on my 93 YJ and with his gas shocks, its a little stiff, for me anyways. Skyjackers softrides on almost everything I can get them for. I like em and have had them on Jeeps for a while now. I normally only go to 2.5 inch lift on my jeeps, but I am thinking about replacing the ones on the YJ with the 4 inch softrides. (going from 35's to 36 or 37's)
In the past I have run rear cj2a springs on the front of my Flatty. The rears are so much longer (like Hollbrooks) than the fronts and man what a nice ride. Only problem is on the street , you get a pretty good sway. That kind of change requires you move and reweld spring hangers and centering the front axle, or moving it forward a tad. I'd go with Skyjackers softrides.
