I see lots of guys here are running BDS 2.5 lifts. Everyone seems to be pretty happy with them.

Does anyone have an opinion about Holbrook Specialties Long Leaf kit?

I need new springs on my 67 CJ6. Any opinions (good or bad) would be welcome.

Our fellow forum member and resident guru Nickmil has some experience and info on these, IIRC. Do a search for Holbrook in this forum, look for info previously provided by Nick.

    Welcome Scott! :coffee:

    Mike,

I don't mind at all. That site is my public place to post photos. The more people see them the better.

I'll be adding my teardown/rebuild photos there soon. They should be interesting as my 6 won't look the same when it's done.

p.s. Your white on white 6 is stunning. I haven't decided on a color yet. After seeing your's I'm tempted to go the same route.

I'll send ya the rattle can! ;)

The scheme is purely accidental, and looks tons better in the pics than in person, but I am kinda liking it too. The unusual shape of the CJ6 seems to get around the "Michigan White Jeep Syndrome" that most white CJ's here represent (IE - "I just replaced a rusty metal body with a 'glass one and ran out of $$ for paint...;)")

    8) The white on white really does look good, it's not just another white Jeep. Boyink, what are the available colors in a CJ6 top?

Bestop (what I have) is available in black only.

Speciality Tops (like Worth put on 615) is available in all of their choices - black, grey, white, even red apparently. I had planned to buy a white top from them and go with either gold, yellow or mint green on the body.

Now I'm too Dutch to swap out of a brand new top just to get a different color... ;)

:D You know, of course the fender flares help to make it look less like the Michigan White Jeep. All you need now is some bling. R)
