Are the spring eye bushings the same as on an ECJ5? Not sure the year of my trailer if this makes a diff. Bushings look the same, just looking for confirmation, source for replacements and maybe part #. Thanks

??? Don't you have threaded shackles....Or am I confused about what you are talking about?

Nope. I got regular shackles, not the theaded C style. Rubber bushings at each end of spring. Looks original but whose to say. Lot's of paint and somebody may have changed/upgraded them somewhere along the line.

here is what Bantams and M-100's (and maybe M416's?) look like: I guess yours may have been changed to "later" springs?

Mounting brackets look the same but there is no evidence of shocks ever being on it, no brake assembly, and as we're discussing, "regular" shackles not the C or U bolt style.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the shocks and brakes were a military-specific item (I think). I may imagine the rear hangers (threaded shackle end) have the same diameter as a bushing and insert for normal "CJ" shackles. It might not, but would only cost $1.80 to try it:

Good point, Mike. If they don't fit the trailer, I'm sure I'll use them some time later down the road. Thanks
