Speedometer cable

    I was installing a new speedometer cable to my transfer case and the threads became cross threaded. Ca you remove the threaded part from the transfer case in order to clean up thread ?

    It screws out. A deep well will get it. You may not have room with socket and ratchet so you may have to use a spark plug socket and crescent wrench.
