Speedo Gears

    I sold someone a parking brake assembly from that 60's cj5 rolling chassis. They are putting it in a 2A. The large speedometer gear apparently, is not the same as the one they have. Is there any reason that the speedometer gears in the brake assembly I sold him will not work? Speedometer cables different maybe? I'd hate to see the guy waste a good speedometer.

    I would think that as long as he keeps the matched speedometer gears together and the speedometer cable fits correctly inside the small gear, it would work. Both jeeps are 5.38 axle ratio.

    Sorry for the bug/small gear thing. i forget which is the drive and which is the driven. I think the big one is the drive and the small is the driven.
