Hi all, I just purchased a Sparton turn signal for my 1967 CJ5, and the plastic lens is BLUE instead of GREEN for the indicator light. The unit is in excellent condition. That being said, I was wondering why the difference in colors of plastic? Is it due to different models of vehicles that they were installed on, or did the factory run out of one color and switch to another? The model # is SCS-3R, which I believe is correct for my CJ5. The other difference I was curious about is the placement of a riveted on nameplate on some of the turn signals front. (Some have it, some do not) Any info. will be helpful. Oh and I did read the thread about how one of the members restored his turn signal, and what a beautiful job he did!
