some other projects

    a little boared this am, so thought i would post some pics of some other projects that i have done on the jeep :D

    looks good. thanks for the pic with the steering box mount looks like hanging down low is not a problem.( not that you were trying to give me that pic)

    thanks guys :D the frame is a stock '78 cj-5 frame, so the stering box is in a stock location. so far i have never had a problem with where it is.... however you can buy skid plates for them.

    the three red lights on the dash under the gauges are idiot lights. one is for the brakes, works like normal. the other two are for temp and oil. they use the stock senders and are intended to let me know of impending problems.

    with temp, when the light goes on i can look at the gauge and deside how bad the problem is... i know the motor thats in there now runs up to 225* no probs but the light comes on around 200*.

    in steep climbs the oil light has come on.... again i then know to moniter the gauge a little closer and decide from there what the situation is. ;)
