Hi to all on the board!
I've finally got the brakes done on the 68 CJ.
I have converted to 4 wheel discs with all new parts
from MC to calipers. The brake pedal is soft and and seems
to have a bit too much travel. I have bled the system and
have no leaks. Is this normal? The MC is for a 4 drum setup,
colud this be the problem? Also thinking about a Wilwood
    tandem remote fluid MC.
Thanks in advance for any help

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder?

If the brake pedal is soft it has air in the system somewhere. I would say you've still got some air in the system. I've had brakes hold a bubble untill the rig has been driven (slowly around the parking lot) and re-bled.

I did bench bleed the MC. I have never used a drum brake
master cylinder with discs so I was not sure what to expect.
It would seem that if all the air was out the pedal would be firm.
    Maybe a defective MC...just details.
I dont have a digital camera but a friend has one,and he has
a few pics of the project. I hope to talk him into posting them.
