Here are some pics of my first two jeeps that I drove for a combined 20 years as a daily driver. I loved those things. That little chesepeake bay retriever was an awesome dog too. All of these are long gone now.

It looks like your roll bar comes down in the front by the door/legs. Mim trying to decide on roll bar and am wondering if that part gets in the way of getting in and out? What are your thoughts on living with it?

Nice looking Jeep! Body appears to be military, M38A1, which would indicate '50s era but front end (at least the grille) is non-military and later '60s model (large indicator lights.) Looks nice, though.

Yes... My Jeep is a mix up of early and later M38a1's... Plus the PO licensed it as a 1942... Mongrels are normal for Jeeps...

yes, i was the only one in the jeep, flip goes very slow so i had time to held myself the the rollbar, 3 point seatbelt help a lot too.

Was trying to to climb a big rock, almost make it them suddenly start slowy to flip over, if i had the reflex to put it un reverse i would have save it.

a good lesson for me, since couple last month i was over confident on the jeep.

When someone asks what year your Jeep is...You reply...Which part?

I just don't want to have to explain to the parts guy when he asks "What's it going on?"
