Need a little help with my t90 transmission. 1-R shifts fine. 2nd has a little resistance every so often, 3rd shifts fine 75% of the time.

Every so often it doesn’t want to get into 3rd gear and will grind a little when I finally get it in.

The transmission was rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago. New everything. Shifted fine up until a couple months ago.

Hopefully some sort of adjustment and not my synchros already crapping out. I’ve used stalube gear oil only.

    Two thoughts:

    1. Make sure your clutch is adjusted so that you get full disengagement between motor and trans. If the trans still has power/load, it will cause difficult shifting. Things may have stretched or worn on your clutch linkage since the rebuild.

    2. There is a possibility of synchros sticking, but I think this would have happened right out of the gate, not later on once they are broken in. Here is a video explaining this (even though unlikely)...

Drain the fluid into a pan and look and see if any particles are present. Common best practice to drain and refill lube at 500 miles to remove contaminants and initial wear particles. You did this right?
You said you are using Stalube but you don't say WHAT Stalube. Stalube is a brand that manufactures lots and lots of different products.

Sounds like clutch sticking, not disengaugeing. Try adjusting clutch closer to top
    of pedal.
