I currently have 3 weekends and a couple short evenings in my front fenders. On the left one I replaced the rear inner fender piece with one from a junk fender. I also replaced the brace with a new one from Walcks. Pounded and pounded on all the bumps, welded up all the cracks ground out all the old repairs and rewelded. I think it is finally ready to put on the Tub and Grill so I can do the detail hammer and dolly work..

The Right fender was a mess the inner rear top joint was all messed up from terrible previous repairs. I just finished welding that mess all up and will grind it out tomorrow then of course will come the rewelding and hopefully I'll have it fixed. I also stretched the battery knock out 2.5" to the rear so I can fit a huge Series 31 Battery in that location. I also yesterday made a recessed battery disconnect switch mount that is mounted in the inner fender just ahead of the Battery knock out. The main inner fender piece was replaced at the same time it also came from a junk fender.

I'm guessing by the time the fenders are ready for the skim coat of filler I'll have about 60 hours of work in them.

But then if you saw the Tub I built you would know 60 hours is a drop in the bucket.
