Seat Frame Color

    Are the seat frames in cj2a painted black or body color from factory?

    Thanks. I had already painted them black, but a part of me started wondering if it may have been body color. Since i should get my black upholstery in today i was thinking about possibly painting the frame body color to contrast with the cushions. But why make more work for me :)

    I went a different way since I am not restoring my Willys (its been to much of a salad to do a restoration since dad bought it in 1962) Dad liked the Red Orange color (dad was into Search and Rescue) I never liked it at all. So I am painting the Jeep a medium non metallic blue. But I had the Upholsterer use a Orange Piping on the edge of the seats. I'll use Orange Aircraft style Seat belts and a Orange pin stripe on the Black Wheels to honor dads color choice. Might put a Orange pin stripe on the aluminum hard top just above where it meets the body as well
