Has anyone used the Rod-Links clutch linkage? I installed it today, and so far my impression is good. The pedal movement is smoother and a little easier. Its also much quieter -- no more squeaking.

I've had the original ball-and-socket linkage explode on me in rush hour traffic before. I probably should just go ahead and go hydraulic.

I was just wondering if anyone else had experiences with it. Does it work any better in off-road situations where the frame flexes a lot?

You mean replacing the ball joints with Heim joints? It's something I want to do to my truck. Right now the broken ball joints are kludged up - drilled through and bolted.

Probably makes the clutch action easier, since you waste less effort on the squeeky, worn-out ball joints. I don't think it'll make the action off-road any different ... it's the movement of the frame wrt the bellhousing that's the problem. Changes the bell crank angle and the clutch won't disengage completely.

One big advantage off-road will be reliability. The old ball joints tend to come apart at inconvenient times.
