Such things have been posted and discussed here several times, with drawings etc. Try search.

    What model/year etc?

I have searched and found the specs for the brackets that attach to the floor of the body tub but I haven't found anything as to the brackets that the seat itself attached to.
Intermediate CJ5 ,1974 but it appears that the seat brackets were the same for several years prior to the intermediates.

Is this what you are looking for? Can get measurements in a couple weeks.

    From the CJ3b page

"Bill Oakes provides this photo and comments, "I think that between '55 and '81 there were three different seats. First '55 to approximately '66, then up to '72 or '73, then to '81."

    Flatfender Rear Seats on CJ3B.info

The one I have is said to have come from a '67.

The middle seat bracket style (upper picture at jwmckenzie, post #4) lasted through the intermediates, through 1975. Nearly everything changes for the 1976 model year, including the rear seat brackets. The '76-up brackets are 4 separate stamped brackets, two front and two rear, and not easily removable like the through-'75 seat. The easily removable rear seat is great for camping, because it can be set on the ground to make a couch. It also means that many of these seats were separated from their Jeeps ... my '75 came with a back seat, but it's been lost somewhere along the way.
