Found a tag on the rear diff that indicates it's a limited slip. Tag reads "use limited slip diff lube only". But the wheels rotate in opposite directions when spun off the ground. With all the Mopar limited slips I've seen, the wheels will rotate in the same direction. Can anyone explain, do I possible have a worn out limited slip unit?

Should be a Trac-loc. My 71 had the same tag and the wheels did the same things. Its my understanding that the trac-loc clutch packs wear out very quickly.

I had a Trac Lock in my 71'. After breaking it and repairing it 3 times I went with a Detroit. I was somewhat confused when I first saw the tag as well. After I broke it the first time I set it up really tight and it acted more like a true posi...both tires would spin same way. When it worked it was great I just got tired of replacing parts.
