Ramsey Cast Fairlead assembly?

Does anyone know anything about these? It's cast and not stamped from sheet metal and it has the number 951 (IIRC) cast into the back of it. I just bought a Jeep with one on it. I've seen one before on Ebay but I couldn't find anything on the net about it.

PS I found out last night that Hillbilly had one of these for sale on his website at one time. How about it Hillbilly, do you know where these came from?

 

OK I uploaded several pictures to an album on this site and then posted this one and this is what I got! The original of this was about 900 pixels wide. THE original of that was 3700 pixels wide. I later uploaded it to the album and then tried to add it to the post above and it wouldn't even show up! This is why I hate trying to post to albums and web hosts. They all change the picture sizes and you end up with garbage!

 

All eight of em look fine to me. Love your jeep. My Son-i-law has one like yours (incl winch) on his CJ6. Was on it when he bought it so know nothing about it, sorry.

 

i sure dont..i had one of those and sold it some time back..got a good $$ for it ..i havent seen to many of those lately for sale or where they came from..if you want a bunch of pictures and measurements of it let me know ,.pm me through here..been busy as a bee @ work running all over the country..

 

1963. Thanks for the offer but this one is mine so I don't need measurements. Just like to know more about it.

FWIW the PTO (also Ramsey) has a cast in number that reads "9-53". Does anyone know if that's a date or something else? Can't read the tag on it since it's on the top of the PTO and facing the floor.
