About 3 months ago I went on the hunt for a new windshield glass and weatherstripping for my 1952 M38A1. I wanted to go back like the original with the 2 piece glass so I started calling around looking for the correct weatherstripping. I called a few dealers and they said there was only one source for the weatherstripping. I went ahead and called Army Jeep Parts and George Baxter, the owner answered the phone. He was great to deal with and expected I would be very happy with my purchase of the 2 piece windshield weatherstripping. So I received my order very quickly and picked up the glass and started the process of installing it today. I took the windshield over to a friends house today and it took both of us about 1 1/2 hours to get the glass fully installed in the windshield frame. Just as George Baxter said it went in quite easily and it looks great. Only tools needed was a can of spray silicon and a wood paint stirrer cut in half to help get the glass installed. So if you are looking for a 2 piece windshield weatherstrip to go in your early CJ 5 or M38A1 , I can not say enough about the quality and service I received from Army Jeep Parts. They will certainly get more of my business.
