I got some extra parts that came along with the CJ3A that I recently bought, and in that stuff is a complete rear PTO set-up, shifter, driveshaft, and rear mount gear box. Other than the "coolness" factor, are there any practical uses for a PTO? I think it would be neat to mount it to run a buzz saw or something like that for display, but I live in town, and don't have a yard big enough to run a lawnmower. :) Any suggestions?

I've seen a very cool set up on a '69 where the rear PTO powered a hydraulic pump, which in turn was connected to a log splitter.

This was put together by a guy named Dean (IIRC :? ), from NJ. Pics are from PA Jeeps show in York PA in 2001. He has visited here in the past, this is the guy that installed FI by "stacking" EF disributor components in an OF distributor. Haven't heard from the guy for a few years, he hasn't been back to the York show since '01.
