Any pump from a Buick 231 should bolt right up to the head. The only difference between pumps is the location where the hoses exit. I like them to point towards the drivers side fender, this gives plenty of room.

The box can be any 3 or 4 bolt saginaw box, preferably the 4 bolt for strength issues. The sportier the car, the quicker the ratio will be which is no good in short wheelbase CJ. I think mine is around 3.25 which is still a little too fast for my liking. Looks for big old cars to pull the box from. I've heard that a 68 Impala is the perfect ratio for a CJ5. Good luck

'68 Impala may be hard to find... the S-10 boxes work well in the FSJs. 3-bolt though.
