    Going to start a Saginaw Power Steering conversion soon. Got some questions

    On a Buick V-6, I have a high mount for the power steering pump. There is a heat shield between the exhaust manifold and the fuel pump. When the mount for the power pump is installed, do you lose the heat shield?

    The usual route is to go with a rear dump exhaust manifold when doing the Saginaw conversion, when done this way the heat shield can go away.
