Plastic Gas Tank

    I am getting ready to install a new plastic gas tank (under the driver's seat) and sending unit on my 1969 cj5 V6. Are there any tricks on getting the sending unit to go into the tank? Does the sender or fill line go in the the hole first. I try a couple differnt times tonight and had no luck.

    Should be a very simple install. If you are having that much trouble I suspect you don't have the correct sender set-up for the plastic tank. Pic's needed.

    Got it, popped off the float and then got it back on while it was inside the tank
