On the 1960 cj5 was the parking light clear or amber colored? I’m referring to the two small lights on the grill

Lens and bulb should be clear.

Just out of curiosity, when did the front parking light lenses get changed to the amber color?

Thought so. I’ve seen all different variations on jeeps and wanted to keep it original

I would guess when the light changed on the grille.
For cars i think the 62 could be clear and 63 became amber.

I think '63 was the transition from clear glass to amber plastic. I've seen both on '63s. My '64 Tux has the amber plastic. These lenses have a "62" molded in them, so they were designed in 1962.

I don't recall ever seeing an amber bulb in any that have the clear lens. Of course that doesn't mean it's correct.

Wagon parts list calls for a 1034 bulb which is clear.
