    These are some great vintage photos!
    That 4th photo, dated 1962, shows a Parkway version of a delivery/panel wagon. You can see the slightly smaller side windows gasketed into the flat "panel" section rather than the recessed sliding windows. Also note the round rear fender arch. The Government ordered a large number of the delivery/panel wagons, with most being the Parkway edition. Very few were sold directly to the general public. The Government vehicles usually have a brass VIN plaque attached to the dash or glovebox door.

    The first two photos of the FC150 show the "standard" model often purchased by Government agencies rather than the "deluxe" usually sold to the public. The difference is the lack of quarter side glass just behind the door glass. There are not many of this version still around.

    Thats cool! Interesting that there were no markings on the jeeps other than the wagon and FC. I'm intrigued by other things that jeeps were used for other than the military. Thats why I restored my '49 to a forest service jeep.

    I personally know where 2 of the Border Patrol station wagons are. One is owned by my son in Santee, CA and another is in Spokane, WA. My father retired from the BP in 1968. He was stationed in San Ysidro.

    Looking at the picture I suspected that was the case with the wagons. Definitely appeared to be flat panels along with the pronounced round wheel well. Thanks for the info!

    I don't have any of either, I'll have to see if my son has some of his. Next time I'm in Spokane I'll try and get pics. It's stashed behind a house behind some other junk. Maybe he's ready to get rid of it.

    I own a '64 Traveller that supposedly was former Border Patrol. I think the Wagon in the Montana picture about is actually a Traveller and not a Parkway Conversion. While both Parkways and Travellers were based off the Delivery, Parkways had fixed side windows and Travellers (usually) had sliding windows that were still flush compared to those of the recessed side windows of a regular Willys Wagon. The Traveller was also only made from 1960 to 1964 and most were bought by the Forest Service and Border Patrol.

    I'll have to disagree with you on the Traveller. There should be a fairing/rack on the roof for the spare tire that isn't present in the photo. Also, I have a Parkway that has the sliding mid window on one side only. The Travellers had longitudinal rear seats with the inner wheel tub flattened for the seat bottoms. I think all the Travellers had two-tone paint schemes with the break-line at the stainless trim. I've never noticed the barn doors didn't carry the two-tone paint. The Wagon in the photo shows white paint from the base of the windows up.
    My Parkway and Delivery both have a tail light on each of the barn doors instead of just the left door pictured in the literature.
    The literature shows the 2WD Traveller with the Maverick paint and stainless trim, and no spare on the roof.

    Quick question: does your Parkway have the hockey stick chrome trim? I have heard claims that only the Travellers had the chrome side trim (and the Parkways did not). Just a claim.

    For what it's worth, my '64 Traveller has two rear tail lights, one on each panel door and no roof rack for the spare. It's also claimed to be previous USPB, but nothing backs that up other than traces of light-green paint poking through in various places.

    That might be a 1960 model in the photo. It appears to still have the high (not ribbed) roof, but has the hockey stick trim and 1-piece windshield, or did all the Travellers retain the high roof after the rest of the Wagons went to the low ribbed roof? As far as I know, all Travellers had the hockey stick trim shared by the later Wagons. The consistent unique feature of the Traveller is the flat rear wheel tubs inside. It might make sense to keep the high roof for the added headroom for the rear seating.
    My Parkway is a '57, and has no stainless trim. My other Delivery is a '62 and also has no stainless trim, and is 2WD with the F-134/ column shift, so this is consistent with what you've heard. I think the hockey stick trim started in 1958 with the Maverick, then 1960 for the rest of the Wagons. In 1960, the Mavericks then got 4 rows of stainless on each side. I have collected sets of all versions of the stainless trim. I'll probably install the late Maverick trim on my '62 Delivery and do a 2-tone paint scheme like the 2wD Travellers. I'll likely add the single thin stainless to my '57, though not correct for it.
    The rims in the photo appear even wider than my 6" x 16 wheels.
    So..., you have the 230 Tornado in yours?
