Oil Filter Lines

    Are the oil filter lines different between the L-head and F-head? Both with the C3 filter housing.
    My son's 59 needs a return line, so I figured he should replace both, and since I was ordering, I decided to replace the lines on my '48. Walck's has different part numbers between the two motors. I haven't figured out why they would be different...

    Isn't the housing mounted a little higher on the F-head vs. the L-head? I know the bracket is different.

    Maybe. I guess I could park the two Jeeps side by side...I guess it doesn't matter, just curiosity.
