The internals are the same as the D25 units.
If you need internal parts for a D25 unit, here's your chance.
The clutch packs are the same for 25, 27, and 30 units.
Clutch packs by themselves are $100.

I thought a locker in the front only was not favorable? I replaced my spider gears last year in my 27 for that much.

I understand that. had this been available last summer, I would have bought this locker in a heart beat.
I was going to put a locker up front, since I had the axle tore apart anyways, and it wasn't much more than the spider gears were, but was advised against it.

Probably has to do with your intended use and where you live then.

The case brake is at 3:73 correct? If so, these should work with my 4.27 gears right?

I believe so. I am planning to use one with 4.27s and one with 4.88s.

JMO and I don't remember you specific situation - but this is a clutched limited slip (though it can be clutched very tightly and is very effective) and thus is much more forgiving on a slippery street than an automatic locker. A selectable locker would be fine, but all else considered equal, i would rather have a rear locker than a front...but we know every situation is different certainly price and availability also plays a role. For this price for this device, a front unit might happen before a rear.
