Did you try searching it???
Sorry... Just pulled a newb.lol
BTW yes it will fit. Only the wiper position is different the fit should be identical.
It should because, I can put an intermediate on mine.
The guy sold the windshield befor I got off work...
I finish installing the Dana 27 today. For some reason the engine is not running good now and shuts off so I'm thinking I have to bleed the breaks for the engine to work corectly again. Ill post pics tomorrow.
No connection between the brakes and the engine running or not...
Did you ever check the points condition and dwell?
i haven't had a chance to check yet, Ill prob do that tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me.
I decided to get a pertronix system on Monday and installed it today. Wow! The jeep fires right up and drives a bit better. I also got some 1.25" wheel spacer to get a better stance. Now I just have to get the timing and wheel alignment right so that I can go do some light wheeling. Next up will be power steering and disc brake conversion.
Thank you all for all the help! Here is a vid of me playing with it yesterday for a bit. Man does that lock right locker make a difference!
Looking good, man. Gonna be ready for the Rubicon in July?
Thanks! That's the plan. I really need to work on getting the brakes adjusted or doing the disc break conversion because the 9" drums are just not cutting it. The manual steering isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be so I don't think it'll be to bad if I just get the brakes working right and then to the Rubicon.
Here are some pics my brother in law took.
I really like the last one.
Update: just about finished with disk brake conversion!!! Just need to bleed the brakes.
Pictures look great. Your going to really like the brakes.
agree! you sure will!
^ Thanks guys! I thought it would be done by now but I ran into a problem... The bleeder screws on the caliper where rounded(I got the calipers from the salvage yard) and haven't had any luck getting them off. I've been soaking them with PB and using vice grips but the bleeder looks even more mangled... I might have to replace the caliper.
